*Did you know that a lot of the “fake” wood furniture is TOXIC?!?!? We all know that solid wood is natural; however, I did not personally know that most particle board contains formaldehyde! Other harmful toxins are sometimes added as well!!! The harmful gases seep out of the furniture and into the air that we are breathing! This information just added to my love and need for solid wood furniture only!
*We build using only solid wood! We never use fake wood! Solid wood has the ability to shrink, swell, warp, twist and crack; however, this does not happen often. It is a possibility with every piece of real wood furniture you may purchase, regardless of who made it. Please do not let anyone tell you that those issues cannot arise because they are completely wrong. Wood is a natural resource so it is not manufactured by a machine; therefore, those issues can arise, due to moisture content and climate. However, we take every measure to prevent this from occurring and if it does then it is beyond our control. We are very knowledgeable and have years of experience building with wood! In fact, one of our amazing team members has over 20 years experience and he follows "the original old way" as he refers to it when building, which he insists is the best way! He has made the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen, so he might just be right!
